Delivery and Returns Policy

We hope you are happy with your purchase but if you are not entirely satisfied, we are here to help.
Delivery
All items purchased within our online shop must be collected by the customer from 46 Inaclete Road, Stornoway, HS1 2RN. We are open from 0730 – 1700, Monday to Friday. If for some reason a customer cannot collect an item, please contact us directly before purchase and we can try to arrange delivery at an additional cost, depending on the customer’s proximity to the 46 Inaclete Road premises.
All items purchased in store follow the same guidelines as above.
Returns
You have 30 calendar days to return items. To be eligible for a return, the item must be unused and in the same condition it was in when it was sold. It must also be in its original packaging, if applicable.
You also need to retain proof of purchase – confirmation emails are sent for anything bought online and paper receipts are issued in store unless the customer would prefer to have the receipt emailed to them.
As we operate solely on a ‘click and collect’ basis, we expect all returns to be taken back in store by the customer. If customers wish to return items via Royal Mail or other courier, that can be arranged at the customer’s expense. Please retain proof of postage until the package is received by Thompson Fencing and Groundcare and a refund has been issued.
Refunds
Once we have received your returned item, we will inspect it to ensure it is in its original condition. If the item is as it was at the point of purchase, a full refund will be issued. Refunds will be delivered using the original method of payment. If a credit or debit card was used to make a purchase online, a refund will be issued to the relevant card. This can take 5-10 working days to appear in your account, depending on your card issuer’s policies.
